Annual Club Luncheon 2026

The 2026 Club Luncheon is being hosted by Ken and Cindy Hancock in their home village of Roade in Northamptonshire.  The event will consist of a ‘clean’ saddlebag sale followed by a three-course meal, a talk by Tony Hadland, author of two of our published books, Raleigh – Past and Presence and Hub of the Universe, and a raffle.

For those staying overnight on Saturday, there will be a short ride on Sunday 22^nd meeting at 10:30 to leave at 10:45, with a coffee stop at Salcey Forest (cafe), then on to Elephant Pond for a little history of the area and, on the way back, we will be able to see a building that has been on Grand Designs

The cost of the meal will be £30 to include a starter, Sunday roast with vegetables and gravy, plus a dessert.  Drinks, including coffee, can be purchased separately.  For those wishing to stay overnight there is accommodation at the Roade House Hotel, bed and breakfast a few miles away and a Travelodge at Old Stratford. Online booking is preferred but if you wish to book by post please send a request including a stamped, addressed envelope to the Club’s Publicity Officer (see address in Handbook).  If you are booking for more than two people please use extra forms as required.
