Sammy traces the development of cycles and cycling from the early days when James Starley played a prominent roll in the development of the industry up to the early 1930 when the book was written.
The present reprinting has been undertaken by The Veteran-Cycle Club which feels that “this book which is essential to students of cycle and cycling history, should be available to all.”
